YOU CAN DO WHAT?Advanced Image Workflow EnhancementsB&W, Sepia, & Color Toning
One of the cool things about digital is the ability to create B&W, Sepia, and any tone you wish, from one image. We capture everything in color and modify the image during workflow. This gives you total freedom of expression and allows you to focus your attention on photography. B&W Here are the most popular methods of achieving a B&W/ Monochromatic/ Desaturated/ has no color image. TIP..Try applying the "defog"
step to your B&W Method 1 - IMAGE/MODE/DESATURATE..... This removes the color from the image, but keeps the image in RGB. Essentially it¡¯s still a color image, but without any color information. This is ok if you wish to add color into the image. (which we will show you). Method 2 - IMAGE/MODE/GRAYSCALE.......This removes color from the image, but converts the image into a true grayscale format. It essentially looks the same as desaturate, however, in order to add color to the image, you have to convert the image back into an RGB format.
