Retouching

Ok, so let's recap what we have done so far. Opened the image and saved as a .tiff or JPEG(and added source to the file name). We then adjusted the contrast (using a small S-curve), we adjusted the color- balance (using selective color), and then we did some facial retouching using the clone stamp (withe lighten and darken blend modes).
What NOW???? Now you save this image, overwriting the file. Why? Because you now have a finished, retouched image that is still in the original file size. (this is the image you are going to archive).
You must make sure that you don't over-do it. If you go too far you will end up with Baby-Doll Eyes. This is where the whites are so white that they look fake. A client will notice this immediately.
